Our aim is to make sure your wedding day is set to the vibiest soundtrack - some of our favourite tunes, and some of your most sentimental songs that we'll lovingly learn for any special moment.
The Champagne Electric Duo - aka Jacinta and Craig
Champagne Electric started because we loved playing together and couldn't see anyone in weddings and events doing what we do [sorry not sorry]. For years we had been performing with other people in more traditional wedding bands, and making original music [shameless plug to Reverie Baby!] But eventually realised that our signature style is what makes us unique, makes music-loving couples want to book us, and also makes us want to play at weddings every weekend!
We’re the duo for couples (and their guests) who are music lovers - We want the music at your wedding to feel like a gig.
Our sound builds from intimate and ethereal to groovy and full - with electric guitar, vocals, keyboard, electronic drums, percussion and looping - and this allows us to play basically anything (and head nod along during our dinner sets). You’ll find our repertoire spans pop, soul, classic favourites, indie folk and essential party tunes - something for everyone!

The questions you might want to skim before hitting ‘send’

Of course! We love adding to our always growing repertoire. For the Champagne Package, we can learn up to 2 songs, and for the Electric Package up to 3.

Yes! The duo as well as all of our DJs have Public Liability Insurance.

We understand not everyone wants to get married in an inner city warehouse. For any weddings that are over 30km away from our homes, we charge a per km fee to cover travel expenses and time. Because Jacinta has a young baby at home, the duo is currently not taking any interstate bookings (unless a holiday is planned - you can always ask!)

Each to their own, but we personally get the ick from contrived footage of DJs running their set. That’s why we don’t have any studio footage. However, if you email us to enquire, just ask and we’ll send you iphone footage captured from real weddings as well as a bucketload of positive testimonials from happy couples.

Don’t worry, we’re not so famous that we have a full admin team - in fact we don’t have one at all! Jacinta is your go-to contact for all bookings and so when you email us, that’s who’s on the other end. We can organise a call to chat through everything, or if you’re ready to book, we’ll meet closer to the date (about 3 weeks before the wedding) to talk details.
